Party Vibez In Adelaide!

So after going through 3 drummers in the space of just a few months it finally came the day to make our journey to Australia’s south to party with our thrash brethren, Craterface. Joining us for the 8 hour van ride was madsnake extraordinaire and awesome happy snap artist Dana and our drummer for the 2 shows, George, better known for his guitar riffing in Collapsed.

It was an awesome weekend. Highlights included:

- Shannon’s road trip CD case which had a shit load of awesome comedy ones.

- Buying Picture Magazine for the trip in and People Magazine for the trip back.

- The Mexican restaurant that was like a burrito equivalent of Subway that was open til 3.30am.

- Shannon setting an alarm for 3am so he could revisit the Mexican restaurant after he was drunk.

- Shannon doing a complete 180 after 2 tokes of a joint at the Cranchor.

- The whole band farting every 2 mins because all we ate for the entire trip was KFC and Mexican.

- Angus trying to chill warm beer with the van’s air con.

- Kenny Loggins - “Danger Zone”

- Doing homie bongs on Grand Final day while playing guitar constantly.

- Pretty much the girls outdrink the guys in Adelaide.

-  Me chucking a tanty because I lost 2 games of pool in a row from pocketing the 8 ball at the start of each game.

- The Vietnamese restaurant across the road from the Brecknock. Best service I’ve ever received and the salt & pepper squid kicked arse!

- Wasted dudes at the Brecknock yelling “MIND RIFF!” during other bands sets.

- FRY-Z!

- Ben from Craterface. Dude was a legend looking after us so well!

- George nailing the set flawlessly Saturday after only jamming with us just a few times.

- The Brecknock’s band area. Open air bar, meaning you could smoke and play! Of course I made sure I ripped off EVH and stuck a ciggie behind the nut of my guitar.

- Bouncers pushed kids off stage at the Cranchor which resulted in a min-riot while the whole room broke out into Bro Hymn!

- Craterface’s new songs are fucking tight as fuck!

-  Nina from Hightime. Such a talented young lady. Her acoustic set pretty much melted all our hearts. I’d fall for her if I was a girl.

TBC…Photos to come!

I keep it real.
